I don't know about you, but I am experiencing a racial awakening. It's not my first racial awakening, but it's different this time in one very important way. My response to this racial awakening is different from any other previous response.

Because it's so personal to me, I am sharing what that means in some detail via my personal Instagram, and I invite you to follow and listen if you feel so moved. But my response is more than personal. It's also business, and from that vantage point, I am taking this action to announce this program specifically designed to help black makers and handmade entrepreneurs.

I have been an entrepreneur mentor for two decades. It's what I do. In some form or another, I mentor every new entrepreneur who comes my way, regardless of your race, and I will continue to do so.

The only requirements to qualify for this particular form of mentoring are that you are a black person, that you are selling products you make yourself, that you need a mentor, and that you can commit to a program that last until at least September 2020. Oh, and the mentoring opportunity is open only to people with a business in the United States or Canada.

If I have just described you, I am opening up 20 spots. I think this is the maximum size I can manage and still help you make steady progress toward your goals.
